Just another day in paradise …..

The restaurants are pretty thick on the ground here, and with Phuket famed for it’s sea food, the many seaford restaurants are pretty special. As most of the restaurants are outdoor and right on the footpath, the seafood restaurants display their seaford right on the street where you get to pick the individual fish or cray or prawns your prefer We took a boat trip into the Andaman Sea between Phuket Island an the Thai mainland. From Day 1 in Thailand

Ok. Its actually day 6 in Thailand, but we havent had the internet (we actually kind of did) but to be quiet frank neither Ross nor Barb really cared. The wireless hotel internet is a little expensive and has poor reception in our room. We’ll have to explain the “expensive” comparison. Everything in Thailand is cheap so although the internet price by home standards is quiet acceptable, by Thai standards we were mortally insulted. At the moment one Australian dollar buys about 31 1/2 Thai Bhat at the dodgy street exchange, so you very quickly start to see [ ... ]

Blog been a bit slow

Blog been a bit. Haven’t Internet to use. At Singapore airport about to board flight to Thailand. Should have Internet there. Not so lucky with internet, the hotel internet is slow in our room 1.355077103.989925

Up up and away

Our plane is a little old. If it was a dog it would certainly be “Old Yella”. The head phones only worked on one side, but the entertainment system is pretty good. In fact my iPhone is plugged into it, and there’s a domestic power point in the seat arm for a laptop …. or whatever other stuff people bring onto planes That token screaming child that seems to be present on every flight was in the seat in front of Ross and Barb. He was world class with his pitch and continuity Ross and Barb were both asleep when the breaky [ ... ]

Already on the gas

Ha. Its 10.30pm and we’ve just been dropped at the airport. Ross has already made a bee line for the nearest bar Barb is diligently completing immigration cards Wow! Reading the back of the Singapore immigration card had both Ross and Barb double checking their pockets The only drug on this trip is love. Well, it is now anyway Hurry up and wait!
