Seaworld today. Nice day except for a cool breeze. Castaway Bay .. awesomeness. Great area for giant hairy balding kids. Daniel liked it too. Little pirate boats with water canons full of kids travel around a pond surrounded by other water canons for other kids … ha … until a boat came around with a man onboard … move over Daniel. Ross drenched the poor guy, and almost blew his hat of his head with a relentless barage to his head. That will learn him

People everywhere ……. People EVERYWHERE. Movie World was bursting at the seems. Somehow we managed to jag a great run on attractions. Hit the Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster first which was under whelmed by people first up, then walked out of that into a short line to the stunt show which tripled in a matter of minutes. Left the stunt show to get some lunch and stumbled on the the Ice Age 4D theatre line walking in; luck put us the 3rd last of 300. Standing in line for the Scooby Doo spooky coaster Barb’s roller coaster radar was working [ ... ]

I must say that as someone who DOESN’T like rollercoaster rides, I get 10 points for going on this one…I screamed my lungs out nearly the whole way and was thankful it was all indoors and u didn’t have to see exactly how high I was off the ground. Daniel loved it…and Ross just laughed at Barb…. Waiting in line for Daniels first ever ride…Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster!!!!

After 2 1/2 days of spew, buckets ( or lack there of), tummy aches, headaches and quick dashes up the street just to keep us sane ( so excited to leave the apartment for a half hour, ” let’s-go-for-a-walk-and-see-how-he-goes”, Daniel is better, albeit a little pale. We are off to Movieworld!!! Waiting for tickets to be printed at Crown…Daniel waits patiently… At the entrance to Movieworld..Daniel VERY excited…

Daniel is much better today.? Baby steps to the Dr who as predicted give sweet FA in the way of useful advice. Off the movies at Australia Fair … Hotel Transylvania. Maybe something a little more a adventurous tomorrow

Spiderman meets the new face of super hero’dom …. Chuckyman. Chuckyman’s special super hero talent is projectile vomiting.? We bet SpiderMan didn’t know that when he sided up that close. A cruel and unusual punishment is metered out proportionate to the severity of the crime.? What heinous crime does one have to commit in order to be dressed In the identical pink fluffy matching outfit as your mum …. and forced into public ridicule. She ‘ll be in therapy for years as a result of this.

Barb went for a run. Barbs run was the catalyst for the hiring of a 3 seat hire pedal contraption. In order to buy some “not hire the 3 seat contraption” Ross suggested we wait till Barb goes for a run and Ross and Daniel could follow on the hire thing. What an idiot. Was Ross honestly expecting Daniel to forget. Ross managed to delay the inevitable until Barb returned, and off we all trudged to the bike hire place. Guess what; one drivers seat (for Daniel of course), one pedal seat (for Ross of course), [ ... ]

No real reason other than they had a promo for coffee and raisin toast. The real reason was Ross and Barb wanted one of the lovely pies on offer and were kidding themselves that they would just have the raisin toast. Ha. They could have got raisin toast at any one of the eight cafes they past including the cafe in the resort. Daniel was still [ ... ]

We were all sitting on the fold out bed and Daniel suddenly chucked onto the floor. Because he was kind of hanging off the bed Ross and Barb didn’t notice it at first, so the results were horrendous. (Really! It was horrible) Word picture. The apartment is a single bedroom with central bathroom connected via both the bedroom and the lounge/kitchen area. In other words a circle. Daniel is vomiting like Reagan from the Exorcist, Barb is cupping the vomit, catching about 50% and yelling at Ross to get “something”. “Something”! What the hell does that even mean? [ ... ]

“Us”…smile for the camera-easier for some than others!! Apparantly there was a whale swimming just off shore while we went for a walk along the Esplanade..We looked for a while but didn’t see anything. Bit windy for the beach so back to the hotel pool after lunch. Guess which one is not a fan of this photo shoot

As usual, we had the take Daniel to the Draculas shop on day 1.

The foyer of the Crown Towers resort is really nice. Cafe/restaurant and a Thai restaurant as well. The pool area has its own cafe which is cool

Real life genuine movie icon. Now that the movie franchise is complete, Spiderman still needs an income. Spare a thought! Looks like he may have added a few kilos under the suit

Back where we belong

Last we were walking around Surfers looking for grog shop (that’s a daily chore for Barb). We were waiting at the pedestrian crossing and standing to Ross’s left was a tall red blooded Aussie man ….. in a mini skirt, makeup and high heels. he had the whole sexy package going on and almost pulling it off. Everyone was double taking left right send centre. Ross was keen to get back the apartment and slip into something from Barbs after 5 collection. Unfortunately no photo, but that’s a mistake that won’t happen again

Ross is part of the entertainment. Sat like this for days, dare not move under instructions from Daniel

It didn’t take THAT long….Daniel in the water at Crown Towers… Water’s too cold for me…and outside temp not quite warm enough. Ok for the boys though..
