Day 2 is the actually the first day of skiing. We got a real shock on the drive up the mountain …………… We got to the village before we seen any snow. The first (or lower carpark) where we have parked before, and opposite the first lift and poma was competely snow’less ……… not a scrap of snow to be seen. The village square was clearly all man made snow, not surprising with the relative mild temperature on arrival. Mei Li arrived from Taiwan last night for her adventure into the unknown (cold, wet and painful unknown). We pack the car with more stuff than took camping for 3 months ….
