Well well well, its 2.45am and we’re up and about partly woken by the alarm and partly by the wind and rain storm flogging Melbourne. Yesterday at the supermarket Ross had to take his swag off the roof of the car to stop it getting soaked before they even get out of Parkdale.
A lot of work has been done and continues to be done to prepare “Neville” for life as the family tourer (Neville, that’s the early contender name Ross has bestowed onto the Troopy). A lot of work includes a mass of wiring, electronics and hardware for the long towing and adventuring journey ahead. Ross also opted to purchase all the usual 4×4 accessories such as bar work and fit them himself. This alone came at a considerable saving of over $4000
