Movie world

People everywhere ……. People EVERYWHERE. Movie World was bursting at the seems. Somehow we managed to jag a great run on attractions. Hit the Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster first which was under whelmed by people first up, then walked out of that into a short line to the stunt show which tripled in a matter of minutes. Left the stunt show to get some lunch and stumbled on the the Ice Age 4D theatre line walking in; luck put us the 3rd last of 300. Standing in line for the Scooby Doo spooky coaster Barb’s roller coaster radar was working overtime. Barb is terrified of roller coasters. No problem here Ross assured her, this is certainly not a roller coaster …. It’s a spooky coaster, ha, too late. Barb sat in the back and screamed the entire ride, literally from start to finish. Daniel was mesmerised by the stunt car show. It ticked all the boxes for Daniel and was pretty impressive for Ross and Barb as well. We found Scooby Doo wandering around on the way to lunch. Daniel loves Scooby Doo, but wasn’t to sure about the 6 foot Scooby in the flesh. We stood in line for the best part of a hour to ride the Justice League attraction. Like all the attractions the line zig zags through queuing corrals and they escorted in groups of 20 or so at a time. After half an hour we were finally at the front if the queue … Wow … We were then escorted inside to join the queue that was bigger than the one outside. The Justice League has literally just opened and it was such a shitty and cheesy ride, it was almost an embarrassment in comparison to the other attractions. We sat on the fake grass in the fake town centre in the fake city to have lunch. The big screen was playing varied exerts of Warner Bros cartoons and movies. Super heros and cartoon characters wander around the place posing for photos with their fans. Daniel rode almost every ride he was high enough to get on. Good day, overcast and maybe slightly on the cooler side of perfect but good none the less. There was a parade toward the end of the day with all the characters which with the music pumping was very easy to get right into. We purchased Gold VIP tickets which give us unlimited access to Movie World, Seaworld and Wet&Wild till June 2013, which is good because we will be back in January and maybe again before June.
