390. Sydney

Barb had arranged to catch up for lunch with a friend who lives in Coogee Beach.

Ross and Daniel were going to see the Disney movie Moana whilst Barb was out to lunch.

The movie venue of choice was in the neighboring Coogee suburb of Randwick, at the Ritz of all places.   We headed over a little earlier to work out who would take the car and who wold drop off who.

Randwick had zero parking options for us with the Kayak on the roof so Barb dropped the boys off at Randwick, and headed the 2km to Coogee Beach.

The movie was pretty good and Barb enjoyed catching up with Lauren.   We all then heading back to the beach at Coogee Beach.

Chish n Fips …. whats wrong with these Sydney’siders

After Coogee Beach we then did a bit of a beach hop down the coast while we were in the area, starting with Bronty Beach

Followed by the world famous Bondi Beach

Filming in the Bondi patrol tower … Bondi Rescue may?? Who knows.   Whatever it was, it was ‘staged’

On my god, the Queen and Prince Arse Wipe stood here.   Right here, wow … on this exact spot, and looked, um, at the … beach, coooooool.   A credible, worthy and unique memorial well worth celebrating.    It would quiet a congested area is they put a memorial for everyone who looked at the beach.   Its no coincidence Ross finds himself standing in footsteps on Royalty

On the way back to camp  we negotiated the Sydney CBD to make a desperate effort to head north over the Harbour Bridge.

Ross’s son Ben used to call the Harbour Bridge the Bigger Bigger Bridge, so that’s what its been called ever since.

Without a navigation computer negotiating our way through Sydney we would without doubt end up in a multiple tirade of rolling abuse.   Many thanks to our wonderful Katie (Katie is Ross’s Tomtom navigation computer)   Barb still thinks Ross and Katie are getting it on.

Oxford Street.   Driving through Sydney CBD in peak hour taking photos, good one Ross

The Pleasure Lounge … hmmm, wonder whats in there.   Xbox????

You bring climbing tourists dressed in blue overalls are on the final decent at the end of the upper arch to the left.

Look! Up to the left around midway through the lattice … its Paul Hogan

The Harbour Bridge is an amazing structure, and much like many other sights such as Ayres Rock, photos just dont do it justice.

With the bike off the roof, we ended up at the large Macquarie Park shopping centre to grab some groceries they wre short of at the other supermarket yesterday.

Daniel got a haircut and now looks likes Michael Buble

Macquarie Park shopping centre has a ice skating rink.   It seemed to be open to the public, but it was full of people practicing figure skating.   Anyway it would be a big inappropriate to go in with a singlet and thongs
