19. Port Macquarie

Another long walk this morning. After paddling 10km yesterday Ross is a little fragile Ross and Barb walked past Flynns Beach where Daniel had the surf lesson a few days ago. There in the sand was a giant message for Ross, for all the world to see “Jesus loves you”

These gazebos are very common camping accessories, but they don’t cope with heavy rain. They hold water and eventually collapse, damaging what ever is around them

These ones have “anti pooling technology” … technology? Hmmm, not sure what that means, but at least the manufacturer of the Wandered brand are acknowledging the issue Quiet day today, we hovered about camp, Daniel went to the skate park a few times and we went to the Supermarket to stock up Daniel bought a new book and was very keen and excited to start reading it It was also bloody hot up till about 5pm. Barb is between books, and Daniel got stuck into his Barb just finished the book, Big Littles Lies, and discovered today that it’s a mini series … and was on special at Sanity music. What a bloom’in wonderful day it t’was

There’s a food festival on the foreshore tonight … We may go down and let Daniel grab dinner there
