23 Eden

Misty and damp air overnight. Very little breeze but it was to bad. We did have the fan on for a while.

The mass exodus from the caravan park continued, including us. We were 80% packed away late yesterday afternoon.

We played a round of Daniels Zombie Apocalypse game last night before Daniel went to bed and then Ross and Barb watched the tennis

The Aust Open is a bit of a summer travelling tradition which started when Barb was 9 mths pregnant and like a dwarf whale just before Daniel was born. Unable to do much but wait, we watched the Australian Open for the first time, and it kind of stuck

When this truck starts creeping into view, you kinda expect a whoppa caravan to be behind it … but it was just the potable water truck filling the park tanks

We bid a sad farewell to this weeks most favourite place ever for sure, Merry Beach. Our time here is done, although we did briefly discuss burning the next booking and just staying put.

Anyone interested in coming to Merry Beach, you can almost select your own site after Jan 16th, because the place empties like the plug has been pulled.

Our tiny piece of rental paradise, right where the white striped speed hump is in front of our car. These pics were taken this morning so we’re all packed up ready to vamoose

Its a very big caravan park with the strip along the foreshore powered sites and the majority of the rest of the park permanent onsite vans

Blindly follow the TomTom, and this is where you end up … a bit rough but still it was a nice meander through the bush

This isnt something you often see for sale on the side of the road … a plane !!!

Tell him he’s dream’in, what we needs is a pair of jousting sticks instead.

We stopped in Pambula to get His Royal Highness some chicken carcasses, and thought we’d grab some lunch at the local bakery.

Barb had heard rave reviews about this Happy Hippie Kombucha. It ticked many bullshit boxes, elixir of life, certified orgamic, and live cultured.

Ross tasted it, and reviewed it as shit that tasted like dirty sock water.

We arrived at the Eden Beachfront caravan park and its bloody hot. The caravan park is on the highway south of the township, and right on the beach.

The caravan park maybe beach front, but we’re a short walk to the beach from the middle of the park and the sites are a little crammed. We poo poo any caravan park where we cant park the car next to the awning

Nice beach tho

No surf here much to the complete annoyance of Daniel, but its easy beach access for the kayak and then only a short paddle to the Quarantine Bay marina and then not too far around the next point to Eden itself

One of the many things that boils Ross’s blood is quickly approaching … Australia Day. Not Australia Day itself but the hordes once a year f$%ktard Australia Day patriots adorned with a collection of Chinese made Woolworths/Coles trash printed in the colours of the Australia flag, from thongs, stubby holders, beach towels, eskys, and hats amongst others

There is absolutely nothing more un-patriotic and each of these simplton dickheads should be punched into reality. Rant over.

Thanks Woolworths and Coles, you should be ashamed of yourselves, you traitorous money grubbing pricks
