Daniels quad bike

We bought Poo Poo Head a tiny weeny mini quad bike (Super Mario cart) for the farm.   At $200 no-one can fathom how a brand new, complete quad bike with twin front disc brakes and full suspension is even possible.

The quad came in a cardboard and had to be assembled to a small degree.   It started easily and runs very well.   The 49cc pull start 2 stroke motor is about the size of the mid sized chainsaw, and it sound just like a screaming chainsaw … it’s loud and very very annoying (unless it’s yours of course, then it isn’t so annoying)

An extra fast red MX helmet, gloves and googles complete the MotoCross Mario cart team picture.

Daniel looks like the Super Mario as a cart racer

Even Barb had to have a go on the weeny quad ….. perfect for all little people

Ross’s is mowing his parents lawns whilst they are away.   The property they’re on is about an acre and has a ride on lawn mower as the mowing weapon of choice.   Yesterday Ross had one of his incredibly fantastic thought bubbles …. take the quad to his parents place and let Poo Poo Head charge about the property whilst Ross mowed the lawn … brilliant.   The quad needs to be run in with about 4 or 5 rich tanks of slowish random use without letting the engine get to hot for to long.   Perfect; as Poo Poo Head is still voluntarily restricting his speed and he can practice braking whilst he doesn’t have the Cripple Creek hills to contend with.

Excellent.   Off we go to mow the lawns and terrorise the neighbours.   Poo Poo Head’s confidence soared as he blasted around the place with wanton abandon.   By the end of the afternoon Poo Poo Head was even sliding across and sitting on the edge of the quad seat to counter the cornering inertia.   Ross and Poo Poo Head then had a chase around the property, taking turns at chasing and being chased; the quad against the ride on mower.   Great fun that we are sure wont be the last time.
