Another road side camp

Its our last night on the route home and we’re camped on the side of the Hume Highway at Winton

Nothing is too good, and no expense too great for this little family

Apparently a few trucks use the Hume … who would have thought, and its a little noisy. Hopefully it will die out as it starts to get dark

There are BBQs here, a toilet and a couple of other free loaders as well as a couple of trucks

Might thrown on a snag an toast a sandwich later. Ross is already relaxing out side with his feet up enjoying a cool drink as the sun disappears.

We have quite a good view over Lake Mokoan and the Winton wetlands

We have a pretty good local TV signal so don’t need to set up the sat dish and generator

It was quite hot when we arrived, but now the sun starting to go down a light breeze has popped up and it’s very mild now.

There is a sign on the toilet to take care regarding snakes ….. Barb hadn’t come out of the camper yet

Ross reassured Barb he was almost positive snakes probably wouldn’t be able to get into the van, even if they like the warmth.
