It’s not too often that Ross and Barb get a view from bed. Unfortunately having the bed that’s over the “A” frame usually means facing the road, and the view is rarely in that direction.
At Bataeu Bay our site is parallel to the beach and we can see the water between the cabins.
Arriving here at about 3pm from Port Mcquarie it’s drizzly and about 25deg. The manager said it was it was 45deg here yesterday with a hot westerly blowing off shore. People hid in their aircon’d vans and those without aircon either escaped to shopping centres or struggled in misery.
We’re right on the beach ….. so fingers crossed for some nice beach weather. Last year here we had some great weather at Shelley Beach, 10min walk north along the sand.
