It been drizzling almost non stop since we arrived here at the Bataeu Bay Blue Lagoon Resort.
It relatively mild and there’s no wind, praise the gods. Wind is far far worse than rain.
With the rain, we were all confined to barracks last night, and were all a little depressed .. although Daniel did escape a few times
Ross’s spirits lifted slightly later in the evening when the Lance Armstrong interview was broadcast in its entirety on Foxtel. He couldn’t have care less if there was a tornado outside. Ross has few idols ….. and Lance is possibly the only one. Complete silence was required …. except for the constant badgering by Barb to Ross’s complete annoyance.
A period of mourning followed as Ross tried unsuccessfully to convince Barb all wasn’t as bad with Lance as it had been portrayed.
Barb says Lance is a dirty stinking treacherous lying drug cheating piece of shit …. slightly polar opposite to Ross’s thoughts of a misunderstood champions champion.
