Got a dose of the dont cares today in regards to the blog.

Overcast and cool windy morning, and an amended forecast from sunny and mid 20s to cold, wet and windy.

Ross finally fullfilled a lifelong ambition to sit back, under awning with a view of the water and relax with a bloody book. For how many years has this been the dream?

Like a Sunday Lassie matinee, Ross sitting in his chair reading his book with the dog sitting beside him casting a protective gaze

Ross, Barb, Daniel and Max went for a walk (Daniel on his bike) before the crappy weather arrived. Daniel lasted about 20min before heading back. Ross, Barb and Max took 2 hours.

After lunch the sky stayed overcast but the wind dropped off and it stayed warm and humid. Barb and Daniel headed to the beach with the metal detector to find some cash and jewellery.

Tbe beach is in the National Park, so Max in banned. Ross and Max went for another short walk.

The rain, or more drizzle, arrived late afternoon. The timing was ok because it was time to retired inside the van to prep dinner anyway.

Daniel was stoked when he worked out the “fan mount” in his bunk is actually a tv mount. Add that to the 240v double point next to the fan and that spells Xbox … set up in his bed. Good times

(Max seems undecided on the whole Xbox thing)

The much maligned dish draining tray has turn Barb. Not only has the humble piece of formed plastic won her over, its become a fav. After the severe poo poo’ing it got straight out of the box, we never seen that coming.

The desire to camp like they do on tv is so strong in some folk, they are camped here on a slope, sitting around a fire in the drizzle
