Panda problems continue

We havent had the Panda a month yet and the issues are still ongoing. The leak was fixed along with the slash in the rear canvas tent section. The leak repair surprised me; I was expecting a blob of silicone, but they flattened and filled the hole with some compound which made it very difficult to locate.

The tent section was pulled apart and the slashed vinyl section replaced along with a repair to the metal bow bracket that fell off. the bow bracket holds the tent section up and out. when the camper is setup

The Panda returned to us with the saggy roof much worse. A straight edge revealed a 5 inch bag across the middle of the roof which I estimate would hold more than 30 kilo of water.

After a feeble attempt to convince me it was within “acceptable tolerances”, all agreed it Jayco would fix it anyway … silly argument when the other tent section fine. A closer inspection by me revealed the tent section fine, it is simply just not fitted properly.

We took her away to Phillip Island and Barb found that the bow bracket bare bolt threads which are through the floor under the matresses had, after 1 use, torn the arse out of both mattreses.

Back she went to her biological parents, the Jayco factory. It was even harder for them to try
and convince me. It appears that when the broken tent bow was replaced last visit with a new design due to issues with the wall thickness of the original. That said, it appears that my original tent section is, guess what …. possibly now a little too BIG and theyll have order a new one to be made.
