Its Daniels birthday today. Our little man is 9 years old. It seems like only yesterday and he was 8.

Daniel looks a little older this morning
God has accepted Ross’s heart felt apology about his cheap Creator humour, and maintained that feral camper suppressing rain All night. We havent clapped eyes on the ferals yet and the peaceful, non swearing atmosphere is intoxicating.
We took Ross’ s parents car back to where it lives. We planned on dropping it back later today, but it has a car cover and needs to be dry …… so, sorry mum, we couldnt wash it first. As a sort of punishment Ross will have to drive down to Surfers tonight in the drenching rain to put the damn cover on.
When we got back to the van to collect Daniels iPod charger …. and the ferals were packing up in the relentless rain.
Awesome short break … set up the tent, get abused by your smart potty mouthed 5yo, spend the night with 5 feral kids in a not quite big enough rain soaked tent … pack up next morning in torrential rain and go home. Sounds like fun

The rain narrowed the options for Daniels birthday … it hasnt stopped raining for 2 days. Its been quite heavy and the wind has sprung up which cause us to roll in the awning ….. so we didn’t have to do it at 3am if the wind got stronger

Although the birthday activity options were thin on the ground, Daniel wasnt to disappointed with a couple of hours in Timezone

Quick weather update before bed …. same as the last 48 hours ….. rain. Only 140mm here today (so far) …. hardly noticed it really
